“The first main overhaul was to restructure the program areas to ensure better zoning and synergy between academic spaces.”

Georgetown’s original layout was a hodgepodge of corridors and classrooms. The first main overhaul of the layout was to restructure the program areas to ensure better zoning and synergy between academic spaces. We upgraded and consolidated the science labs on the second floor to facilitate better collaboration between the disciplines. We integrated new collaborative work rooms so teachers have the ability to easily come together and develop more synergies in the science curriculum.
Though it was not a part of the original brief, we included a separate student entrance which would lead into a 2-storey Student Forum. This space is surrounded by the newly restructured program areas; the food school, servery, cafeteria, science labs, music, theatre arts and com-tech facility and stage.
