Utilizing an Architect Managed Project (AMP) has even greater value when a school is different or has challenges. The minute there’s something different, like innovative details or new technologies, you need more control. 

Without compromising on program space, the efficiency of the design resulted in a 94 ft2 per pupil place facility compared to the Ministry’s target area of 111.3/pp.   This meant we could spend more per pupil place/ft2 on the quality of the building and the mechanical systems. This enabled us to provide superior finishes and a premium mechanical system within the allocated Ministry funding.
