Georgetown was delivered over 3 phases, with a starting budget, including the last phased addition of a field, of $14.4 million and it was completed for $14.13 million. The Board was confident that as a firm we would be able to solve the challenging issues around risk abatement, asbestos, occupied construction, etc. The concern was more around meeting the allocated budget. It is always a concern when trying to bring an older building up to code as you never know what concealed conditions exist that could lead to unanticipated costs. Our AMP process was singularly instrumental in keeping the project on budget. The left over surplus allowed the entire school to receive a new paint job and a fully renewed facility.
